Size & Fit Guide
Here at AOK Clothing, we know sizing can vary a bit between brands in stock. A few pointers to help you get the right fit from the start:
- Bay Road Collection and The Royal Merino fit as you’d expect in New Zealand. Our Italian-made pieces follow European sizing and tend to run smaller. As shown in the sizing table, we recommend sizing up one or two sizes to account for the difference.
We’re here to help you get the perfect fit, the first time. When you place your order, please use the Comments section to share any sizing concerns directly with us. It’s very helpful if you include:
- Your actual measurements
- Whether you prefer a close or relaxed fit
- Any unique features that might affect fit (for example:)
- You’re particularly tall or short
- Arm length is longer or shorter than average
- Any other sizing details we should know about
Taking a moment to fill this out will help us tailor the fit to you.
How to take your measurements (if needed) To measure, lay a shirt that fits you flat and use these points. Do not measure the person directly.
- Chest: across the widest part, under the arms
- Sleeve length: from underarm to end of cuff
- Arm length: from shoulder seam to end of cuff
- Centre back: from the base of the neck to the back hem
- Shoulder width: from one shoulder seam to the other
If you’d like guidance on sizing for a specific piece, just reach out in the order comments—we’ll help you choose the right size.
Please Note: This is a size guide only; measurements and sizes may vary depending on style and fit of garment.
