AOK Clothing Merino Possum Washing Advice

Instructions for caring for your Merino Possum garment:

1. Handle with care at all times; Merino Possum fibres are delicate.
2. Wash only when necessary; the knitwear does not require frequent washing.
3. Wash in cold to lukewarm water using a wool-approved detergent, such as Softly.
4. Submerge the garment and gently squeeze water through it. Do not pull or agitate it by pulling in and out of the water.
5. Rinse thoroughly using the same gentle method.
6. Place the garment inside a clean pillowcase. Put the pillowcase in the washing machine and run on the last spin cycle at a high speed.
7. Remove promptly and lay flat to dry, away from direct heat or sunlight.

Dry Flat.

Possum fibre is hollow and retains moisture. If water isn't fully removed before drying, the garment's weight can cause stretching.
